SENSAY SHNAY

Sheneur Menaker, known musically as Sensay Shnay, is the creator of The Wonder Dome. He grew up on the sandy shores of Miami, surrounded by classical and jazz music at home and Latin-influenced rhythms in the streets. He began studying classical piano at age nine and later secretly taught himself blues guitar while attending a Jewish boarding school in Chicago. After years balancing live music and photography in New York, a 2012 performance by Nicolas Jaar drew him back into music—this time toward electronic sound: layered, introspective, and shaped through experimental hardware. Now based in New York’s Hudson Valley, Shnay performs select shows locally and in NYC and creates immersive sonic environments inside The Wonder Dome.
