Restorative Yoga and Sound Bath • Jaya Yoga East, Sept 14, 2019

Sound baths are sonic meditations incorporating a variety of resonant drone instruments such as singing bowls and the human voice. Our brain waves have frequencies. During the sound bath our body and mind begin to synchronize with the frequencies of the instruments. During this synchronization, the body’s central nervous system re-calibrates and the energy begins to shift at which point one may experience deep relaxation or an Alpha-Theta brainwave state. This sound bath is combined with gentle, supported restorative yoga poses and guided meditation practice. Yoga props such as bolsters, sandbag weights, eye pillows, blocks and blankets will be offered.

We are limiting this sound bath to 25 spots. Reserve ahead of time via Jaya Yoga’s website by clicking this text.
